QBattle Royale · effective 13 October 2026
QBattle Royale ("the game") is a free online puzzle race at qbattle.io, also available as an Android app. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. This page lists everything the game stores.
Your tag and your match results
You can pick a tag of up to 10 characters, or leave it blank and play as UNKNOWN-nn.
Do not use your real name. When a match ends the server records, for each player:
- the tag,
- the room number, finishing place and number of players,
- progress, number of moves, finishing time and match length,
- the date and time of the match.
These records feed the public leaderboard, so your tag and results are visible to everyone. Old records are deleted automatically once the table reaches its size limit. Tags that are offensive are kept off the leaderboard.
Your IP address
While you are connected, the server holds your IP address in memory, only to limit how many connections one address can open at once. It is not written to the results or the leaderboard, and it is forgotten when you disconnect. The hosting server may also keep short-lived technical logs (IP address, time, page requested) to keep the service running and secure. These logs are not used for anything else.
On your device
The game keeps two small settings in your browser's local storage: the last difficulty you
picked (cr.mode) and whether you have finished the tutorial (cr.tut).
It does not use cookies. A service worker keeps a copy of the offline page so it can be shown
when you have no connection.
Sharing
Nothing is sold or shared with third parties. The game runs on a server in the European Union (Hetzner Online, Germany), which processes the data above on our behalf.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights and contact
To have your match records removed or to ask anything about this policy, email qbattle.royale@gmail.com with the tag you used. Under the GDPR you may also ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your data, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
